Creative Burst

I have been having some fun lately coming up with some new styles and playing with digital tools to improve my product photos. Today I learned how to apply sparkles. This helps to enhance the bling I add to my bows. I try to make the sparkle subtle since I don't want it to scream photoshop. Each of the rhinestones on the above bow has a little sparkle added to it. I also have a couple new items I've had fun with. Check out Dorothy on the Oz bow. I used a ink jet printer and shrink a dink style film to create the center for the bow. The ribbon is also printed off my printer. It takes a lot of extra time, but I can get ribbons that are not sold in stores- so that is kinda fun. Anyhow, I am hoping to post some new items to etsy today.

  1. Amy - these are SO cute! I am loving them both, and how stinking cool is that that you are doing this on your COMPUTER. Crazy! Are you feeling better, and did the kiddos stay well, or did they get sick, too?
