After some requests and a very special custom order (thanks Tricia!) I finally invested in some darling crochet knit caps. They remind me of the cloche hats flappers wore in the 20s. I used a lovely silk Gerbera Daisy and mounted it to an alligator clip- then in a moment of sheer genious (or the need to save some money) I came up with an idea to add a sparkling center. Necessity being the mother of invention, I found wood plugs at a local craft store and some really great micro fine glitter (in 16 colors no less!) and I created a super fun center for the flowers! Just loving how they turned out. I also received an order I placed today for more colors and flowers for the hats. If my kids weren't so sick I might work on my pile of projects- it has taken over the dining room!
